Anatomy of a Book
1. Endpapers: Two pages at the beginning and end of the book to help enhance the design
2. Casewrap: If a hardcover book has a jacket, the book underneath is considered the casewrap.
3. Book Block: The main text or body of the book
4. Gutter: Like the margins (space between the printing area from the binding)
5. Headband: Small decorative strip used at the top and bottom of a casebound book to fill the gap between the spine and the cover
6. Backbone: Known as the spine
